Cessna 525C Citation CJ4 is a continuation of the line Citation Jet. The first flight took place on May 5, 2008.

When Cessna Aircraft published the results of the flight tests of the Citation CJ4, these figures caused a noticeable revival both at the base in Wichita and in the neighboring continent in Brazil. So far, judging by the test results, CJ4 is ahead of the main rival, Phenom 300, in most LTH. However, it is worth waiting for the final figures from Embraer to judge the separation.

Although some of the direct competitors of the CJ4 boast more spacious cabins, the Cessna offers an undeniable combination of satisfactory comfort for passengers, good LTH, innovative technologies and excellent service. This allows us to conclude that CJ4 has created for itself a special market niche that will provide it with good merchantability. However, Cessna, as well as Wichita’s fellow competitors – Hawker Beechcraft and Bombardier Learjet, now has to constantly look at Embraer. Their tri-power in the light jets market has come to an end.
